OUR APPROACH AND IMPACT

The European Tour understands that every electrical installation and their electrical appliances deteriorate overtime with constant use. This was at the forefront of them engaging Powercor, to ensure they could be safe in their knowledge that they weren’t putting themselves, visitors or their property at risk.

It is the recommendation of the Electrical Regulations, BS7671:2018 as amended (Regulation 135.1) that every electrical installation is subjected to periodic inspection and testing.

Powercor carried out the Electrical Installation Condition Report and all the portable appliance testing in accordance with the IET Wiring Regulations. After the remedial works were identified and completed, the certificates were verified and signed off so that the client and their insurance company knew they were fully compliant.

We pride ourselves on being registered, accredited and continually maintaining our status with a large number of Governing Bodies and Health & Safety Associations.

Our accreditations have been vital in the development and success of Powercor. They show a commitment to our industry and clients as they are not just certifications but a set of principles, rules and standards we always abide by.

Fully compliant

Helped the European Tour identify potential weaknesses or outdated electrical components that might be prone to failure.

Cost saving

Provided significant savings over time by identifying and fixing electrical issues early so to prevent more severe and costly repairs down the line.

Safe design

Minimised the likelihood of electrical fires or electric shocks.

I found Powercor and their team onsite really helpful, working with us (facilities and the technology teams) to ensure safe, secure and smoothly planned works undertaken within the timeframe allocated. A few hurdles hit but solutions provided promptly.
