Fixed Wire testing has become a huge integral part of the yearly inspection of schools and commercial businesses to make sure the wellbeing and safety of the children & staff is kept top priority.
Powercor offer a professional service of testing and collating the findings in the form of a full report which is given the client – see our maintenance and compliance page for more information.
All electrical sources will be tested. After these checks have been completed, you will be presented with a report that identifies any damage or defects.
Thermal imaging is also available if required
The results of the report will fall into three codes:
Category 1 – Danger present
Category 2 – Potentially dangerous
Category 3 – Improvement recommended
A full remedial list is produced for the client, for which they will need to react to get the premises up to a compliant level.
