The initial enquiry highlighted that they wanted to achieve different light levels for different sporting activities as well as different lighting levels for exams and their “Whole Hall Prize Giving Event”.

On top of this, sustainability was high on the agenda with energy efficiency and reduction also required as all the sports hall lights were being left on when the hall was not in use.

For this, it was explained that Philips LED Lighting was required along with a Philips Dynalite Control System needing to be installed.

Powercor installed Philips Gentlespace Luminaires and presence detectors at high level using MEWP’s which are controlled by a Philips’ Dynalite system enabling the sporting facility to easily control the lighting for whatever purpose was required.

The presence detectors enabled the installation to be energy efficient and reduced energy consumption and the facilities costs.
